A little hidden gem. A bit of a hole in the wall bar and grill. All of the food is fresh and homemade. The cream I'll f mushroom soup was amazing. I ordered the peanut thai chicken wrap. Ends up thru were out of peanut sauce so they offered to comp it right away. Perfect service.

So all of you know that I'm slow with a compliment and lightning-quick with criticism. This review is true to my grumpy nature. Today (Sep 26 2019) the Eagles are playing the Packers and wifey and I were running too late to catch the start of the game in Boise as was hoped/expected.
So we checked out this nice town and weighed Kurly's against Wingers (or similar name). We chose Kurly's even though it meant driving past W and made us late for the kickoff. Anyway, plenty of parking and lots of free space. All good--so far.
Then we ordered beers and fries and noticed the ridiculous number of flies. On a quick scan we found the source of the issue--two open, non-screened doors. Yikes, what did gramma teach us? So notice the many flies on the modest (46"?) TV (see pic--no need to take my word for It) and then imagine the quantity of flies on my lily-white legs.
I am going to gloss over the rest of the issues--no sweetener for iced tea (sweetened tea was offered but wifey likes to add her own to control the sweetness) and the violently assaulted men's room door: the beer is cold, the customers tolerant of Eagles-cheering (I'm slightly obnoxious), and the server doing the best she could.
This is close to a.one-star, but I'm in a better mood than usual. -

I was hungry and desperate for a beer. Great beer but below average service, a/c was overwhelmed and needs an upgrade, great prices, sandwich and salad were about what you would expect, no need to stop here unless you're looking to get sloshed

Super friendly and homey feel. My salad was really good and the food I tasted from my family was also very good. The beer selection is limitted and I would love a better wine choice. But all in all a great place to try for sure.....

I am a believer in giving somebody or something a second chance. So, I decided to come back and it just happed to be the biggest night this town has to offer... and there is one server here.? Really? This is how you expect to take care of customers on a night like this? The owner slash manager needs a lesson in customer service and how to manage a schedule! How in the heck do expect to provide quality customer service with one person? Amber did a great job serving over 37 customers...BY HERSELF! Really? You are going to work ONE employee her ass off on a night like this. To the owner of this establishment, be very ashamed of yourself. And by the way, your cook has no idea how to cook medium well steak. Can you say jerky? Totally disappointed AND you lost multiple customers.
